We’re excited to announce the appointment of Carlos Porras as our new Managing Director for the Latin American region (LATAM) for our portfolio company elev8.
Carlos will be at the forefront of digital transformation in this role, driving elev8’s strategy and go-to-market plans and operations for the LATAM region. He will also be leading the deployment of innovation programs and local and regional partnerships.
He has a strong people leadership track record, a deep understanding of sales strategies, and experience in developing complex deals. Over the last 13+ years, he has proven to be a results-driven sales leader who reaches business objectives by leading high-performance teams across various industries and segments, including finance, retail, healthcare, and others.
Carlos joins us from Oracle, where he was most recently Regional Sales Director. Before Oracle, he held senior sales leadership roles at SAP, including Commercial Sales North Region Manager and Commercial Sales Manager for CAM (Central America and Mexico) and CAR Regions (Cordillera Administrative Region).
Carlos’ extensive global experience will accelerate elev8’s growth and support our mission to drive tech skilling initiatives around the world – in the LATAM region and beyond.

Carlos earned a graduate certificate in system engineering from the Universidad de Los Andes in Bogota, Colombia.
